Eibach pros creaking

The guy reckons possibly the top mounts and possibly just requires a bit of lubricant
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and or if that sounds correct what he says as ive had a look and don't see many cases where people have had problems with them.
Cheers

Just had my saloon fitted with some eibach pros and I've noticed a creaking sound when turning the wheel stationary and at low speed, cars going in today to have it checked

I have the Eibach Pro's fitted but dont have issues with any noises. These springs (and other brands) do need to be fitted correctly though, the ends of the spring need to be a snug fit in the suspension spring retaining cup and the most important part is that the clear plastic protectors are left on the springs when fitted to the car. The top mounts also need to be aligned correctly. T-800 has posted some great pics and fitting instructions for the Eibach Pro's in another thread. Defo worth a look.

The boys in the garage seem to know there stuff, always doing engine swaps etc the guy who owns it built a 600whp lotus which won time attack Scotland.
He greased the top mounts and told me to monitor and if that doesn't work hel strip them out again and refit
He did mention replacing top mounts but I thought that odd on a car less than a year old, considering my 8p had circa 30k on the clock when I installed H&Rs and never got a peep!
If it doesn't ease off (tbh sounds worse now there greased) I'll get them replaced if there taking them back out for a look
Cheers for the help...and the laugh

Grease the top mounts.....jury's out on that one.
May be the way they have been refitted or the springs haven't settled correctly ?
I've done 3 RS3 8Ps & not had a single problem with the top mounts making a noise afterwards, but i always replace the bearings as a matter of course.
I'll may be fitting a set of Eilbachs on a 8v at the weeking & we see how that turns out.

Surely you'd think it would be greased the first time?
Anyway time will tell as it's already annoying the life out of me.
Hope your fitting goes smoothly my friend
