I'm looking to get my car mapped what are the options? I spoke to a friend who does mapping he was under the impression they are quite temperamental to map is this true?
what sort of gain am i look at for just a stage one map?

The RS3s are not temperamental to map when taken like most things to people who really know there stuff.
The 8p needs the ecu physically open to access & open the software 1st time.
The 8v onwards can be done via the OBD2 port.
Gains about 60/70ish bhp for a stage 1 generic map by APR,MRC or Revo mate.

MRC added a crackle map on Jays 8P tte500 but its nowhere as loud as the shoot gun crackle on the PFLs mate.
