The MTM discs are a lot of €€€€€ i would have a look at the UK market for discs tbh.

As for the rear upgrade there's a few over here too which do those kits.

Just do a Google search mate.

Vagbremtechnic have a 335mm kit with TTRS 8P Rear Caliper Carriers, i have a set of RS6 C5 rotors i can use anyone know what part number the carriers have. Couldn't find that on Google..

https://www.vagbremt...ade-kit-di0013/

The rear conversion adapter kit for the 356mm is 540$, 540$ for two small brakets is to much i think..

Renga.

The TTRS bracket part No's are 8J0 615 425 D & 8J0 615 426 D.

Which are the same part No as our 8Ps i think them brackets are required if your using there discs on a non RS3/TTRS car mate.

OK Then this should fit right?

The caliper carriers for the TTRS and RS3 are expensive ! Anyone knows if we can use other carriers ?

Im thinking about the carrier that holds the caliper : )

Im going to paint them red and was thinking of buing new ones. They cost more than £ 200 each.

I have the 355mm discs from RB Racing. I like the drilled look.

Just bought calipers from the Maserati Ghibli. Think it will be a nice upgrade from the 4 pots.

New Brakes

I upgraded my rear brakes with these adapters from VBT and I used S7 discs from mtec and retained my original calipers and carriers

the adapters don’t say anything about fitting the 8p chassis but they fit fine with no issues

Steve.

Great bit of info that the VBT adaptors for the later models can also be used on the 8P platform 👍

I helped Dan fit the rear RS7 wavy discs on his 8v using the VBT adaptors without any problems.

The wavy rears look great as they now match the fronts.

mad thing about is that even VBT didn’t even know they fit the 8p chassis, I did tell them

Steve.

They probably didn't know as they wasn't marketing them for the 8P even though the standard 310mm rear discs are the same but the rear calipers are not.

As Neil recommended and I've been running at both ends for some years now Reyland are a cost effective replacement also the technical support from Martin is very good,as for brake pads I'm using PBS Prorace in the front with their Protrack in the rear but I do a few trackdays a year and this set up is also fine for road use.

I've run DS2500s and Carbon Lorainne RC5+ pads but the PBSs are my go to pads for my needs and usage.
