I have been looking for a water filter and it seems cheaper to by the container and resin separately. This one says there is an option for either 1/4 or 3/8 Jose lock fittings and I’d like to know if anyone knows which one works with the standard hose quick release on hose lock reels?
Also are all resins about the same or do some last longer than others?

Hi Stu,
That's quite a large water filter 25L I only use a 7L which I change the resin once year in.
See http://www.raceglaze...-exterior/wash/ They do a 7L, 14L & 25L water filers with the correct threads which will accommodate hose lock connectors, as I use all hose lock connectors on mine. Although don't use the ones they sell as they don't seal as well as the hose lock ones.
i cant see there being much differences in the resins, as i said above i use a 7L filter & was two cars at a time every two to three weeks & I only have to change my resin approx every 12 months.

Still delivers great ppm 18 months on. Air dry, no spots.
Have taken delivery of a master blaster too which is a great piece of kit and no work at all to get a perfect result.

I have a Master Blaster and it’s really good for the wheels and from grill. I’m trying to be really careful with the black gloss trim as I’ve heard it’s softer paint that the body paint and easier to get swirl marks.
