DJ Alix will have this too so should be able to flash it for you.

That’s interesting to know Sean, you was up to date then. Even when my car was under warranty and Audi had it on several visits still didn’t update it.

Yes mate he has it and has sent it to me. Problem is though MRC haven’t tuned a car on 0060 so Doug is talking to Mihnea the owner/founder about how there going to go about it. As obviously the moment it’s flashed my original map will be gone and they’d charge me full whack for an new retune which I think is ridiculous. Anything software related should be free of charge in my opinion as that’s out of the owners control.

11/10/2016 is when the TPI was released. So that’s strange as you had it earlier

When you mentioned the version number I thought I’d scroll them to see and found it

Yeah when I said to Alex about the stage 3 reflash he looked quite uncomfortable so do I if I’m honest, I don’t see why I should have to pay for a new tune just because of a software up date

Not sure what the software version on the FL engine is but can imagine it’s different to the earlier engine and thus not compatible.

No sorry I meant on your old 8P files, was you always on 0060? Or did Audi have it some point where they updated it.

No because I sold mine in 2015 to get the 8V and that update was released in 2016

I think if the base maps on the 0060 update is the same as say my 0040 & Jays 0050 ecu softwear all that needs to done is flash your old Stage 3 map back on just the same as when they flash you old Audi map when want it back to standard.

0060 is just an update for the G247 issue a less there's more in the update then that ?

They have my tune on update file 0060.
Should be a simple re flash and test to see if it runs the same and jobs a gooden.

I was at MRC today and I asked them about this, they said they do all there maps to the latest firmware/software so if my car hasn't got it they will update it. I hope that is it now

Hmm I don’t think that is the case purely because my car would have been updated before they mapped it last March 2017 if they done that (the update was available October 2016.) also I know of another member on here whose also visited MRC a couple of times and again had no update flashed.

If you have access to VCDS may be worth having a look on your engine module to see what software version your running.

I’m up here now anyway so I will ask some questions.

I'm glad i found this thread - i've recently had my car mapped to stage 1 and about 2 weeks later had this exact fault.

 

It's going to get the 0060 update and throttle adjustment done tomorrow, hopefully that sorts it.

In the Audi write up about the 0060 update it states that if the ecu has been remapped with a 3rd party softwear the update would put the ecu back to stock.
