At the last southern meet a few of you asked why i haven't got a build thread up so here i am. Finally got a few good pictures so i thought i would stick them up.

I have had my RS3 just over 2 years and came from a TT RS. I had a stage 2+ S3 8P before that and i always hunkered after a RS3 since those days. I absolutely love the RS3 but there are a few things that i wanted to improve. Firstly was the handling. I wasn't very happy with it when i first got the car, especially after coming from the TT was KW suspension. Handling wise i have fitted some lightweight Ispiri wheels with Michelin PS4S tyres. I have 255 up front. I have also fitted the H&R springs with rear anti roll bar. The rear anti roll bar makes a huge difference and makes the car handle so much better. I would recommend these mods to anyone. :)

Next i wanted to sort the seats out. I specced the super sports seats but they never held me in aswell as my Recaro's did in my previous cars. I had Cobra build me some custom Nogaro's retrimmed to match my interior. Very pleased with these. They really hold you in tight through the bends and in my opinion look great. With the seats and wheels together i have reduced the cars weight by 35kg.

Last few mods are RS Design pack style mats, RS Design pack style vents, Maxton rear diffuser, Raywell badges, fire extinguisher and Milltek Decat pipes. These add a lot of exhaust noise and sound awesome.

At surrey rolling road the car made 402ps on the standard map. Very pleased with that. Next step for me will be intercooler, downpipe and stage 2. I never thought straight line power was a huge weakness of the RS3 hence doing the other bits first. This is a hobby for me really. I fit all the parts myself as it's something i really enjoy.

Thanks for reading and see some of you at the next southern meet. :)

Here is some pics of the vents being changed to the RS design pack style. I painted them using the guide from the other Audi forum. You can't tell the difference from the real thing. Only cost a fiver for the paint :)

I also picked up a set of the semi-dynamic looms. Sorry about the poor quality video. This was taken in the garage after i fitted them with limited space. :)

Again fair play to you or what is no doubt a tedious job. Better than paying £400 for some new ones though 😉👍

I got them from autostyle. If you ring them up they are very helpful. Quality is excellent aswell. :)

Morning chaps,

Had a good day out in the Sun on Saturday. My old man came over and helped me fit my Maxton front lip and side lips. Very pleased with the finished results. Excuse the dust on the car. I'll try and clean it tonight.  :)
