My new reg I bought. It will come with a standard one but when I had a quick look on DVLA today I couldn’t resist getting it. Just waiting for the paperwork to come through. 😃

I was looking into getting a private plate. Out of curiosity Stu, how much did that set you back if you don't mind revealing or a price region perhaps.
These new parking machines want me to input my registration and I can never remember the ordering of the double letters in my registration, which means I input it wrong on the ticket and some bloke in a high vis will end up slapping a £90 fine on my car!

Hi James - they cost between £399 and £899 on the DVLA site. If you go to the section for new plates it allows you to put any Year in and some of the older ones are as low as £250.

Did you find anything you liked?
Loads!
There's so many options, some great plates. I'm quite a fan of the 'Prefix' plates. albeit at a greater cost. Probably RS3 and my initials seems to match, but not sure at the moment, would like something that shows it's fast (Jet etc..) Some more deciding to do..
