On my old A3 8P 3.2 which had a Haldex 2 system there was no from what I could find out at the time a service regime unlike the one on the Haldex 1 fitted to the series 1TT & 8L S3.

Dell how does the filter come out mate? once you get the cap off is just a twist or a pull? or both lol mine was wedged and i was in a rush so i gave up and just changed the oil which looked new. I will do it again properly very soon.
I also made the schoolboy error of dropping the diff oil instead first by accident. freaking bolts are so close together.
I just used a screw that I screwed into the spacer and filter to pull them both out.

I was going to do that next & lost the plot & managed to get the pigging spacer before doing so mate.

I spent 10 minutes trying to pry it out and break the spacer up. Then had an moment of clarity
