Stu.I wonder if it would be possible to buy a bonnet used on the LMS race cars? I bet they are carbon and in body colour I reckon they would look great.

More than likely need other bits of the body work to go with it mate ☹
It does look well hard 😊

I did look at the Sirocco R wide arch body kit and found surprisingly the bonnet was based on the standard shape and the wide wings & front end fitted up to it. A company in Australia made the wide arch kit for the VWR team and were prepared to make another set.
I have to say the front arches look great but the rear are a bit too boxy for my liking.

It might offset some of the Pan O Roof weight disadvantage

T-800 - well you might have something there because if someone lost 20kg it would be like swapping for some lightweight parts. I'm 15 1/2 stone so maybe I should get down to 13 to drop the 0-60 time.

Dell - I think I was about 12 the last time I was 63kg. You must be getting World record 1/4 milers.

Chances are this is going nowhere but worth looking into. Often carbon parts don’t fit as good so I’m going to look at one in the flesh and see.

The LMS uses a 4 cylinder engine like the S3, I would have thought the bonnet will probably not fit. I wouldn't be surprised if the engine is mounted lower than a normal car too.
Odd really that they brand it as the RS3 LMS, when it doesn't have the same engine fitted.

I am back looking to see if an LMS bonnet would fit and wondered why it would make any difference if the engine was a 4 or 5 pot? Surely an S3 has the same bonnet as an RS3 because I have seen several aftermarket CF bonnets that fit all A3 saloons?

Tbh your probably need the wings & the bump to make it work,I don't thing the engine has much to do with it as the 4pot/5pot sit in the same chassis.

I know I am probably clutching at straws here but I was thinking if it had the same lights on a 2018 then it might be as simple as the extended wings would be direct replacements for the standard ones.
