I thought it was about time I started a thread of my own. I have a Sepang Blue RS3 8v with Alu Pack.

Spec:

Comfort & Sound Package - B&O, LED Illumination, Cruise, Auto dim mirror

When I first collected her.  :)  Looks way better now though.

Having come from a Mk4 R32 which was modified and sounded sublime, one of the first things I did was to open up the sound of the car with the RS Sports exhaust and the Milltek secondary decats.

I may adjust the rear box so the tips poke out a little more for a more aggressive look, but not OTT mind.

So after having the H&R Springs fitted the car looked much better. 30mm front and 20mm rear.

Note that the correct H&R part number is 28810-3 for the RS3 8v. Other kits without the -3 designation even though specified for AWD A3 are for the S3 etc. The correct springs for the RS3 have different windings and spec on the front spring.

So to continue the thread with my updates. In the spring after having the car lowered I put some new wheels on.

There's a separate thread on this OC about them already but here's the pictures of the Ispiri FFR1 Flow Formed wheels in 8.5j all round, but with oem 235/35 tyres on the rear and oem 255/30 on the front.

http://www.audirs3oc...l=+ispiri +ffr1

These wheels are nearly 5kg lighter than the oem rotors.

I coated them with GTechnic C5 wheel armour before fitting them.

I also recently had the car machine polished and paint corrected to remove swirls.
Came out lovely.

Prior to the tyres going on I installed a full TPMS kit with proper valves and sensors in them.

It works a treat and has a simple small unobtrusive display. Really accurate too and gives a lot of peace of mind on Tyre pressures.

This is the Steelmate T72i. Less than £90 delivered fro AliExpress.

So I finally found some paddle extensions that will fit our cars. Ours are bigger than normal VAG cars paddles due to their chrome surround and these were the only ones I found that fit.

I really love them, more than I expected in fact. They give an aggressive look which I like and make the drive itself and the interior feel more race inspired.

So last week I received some new aftermarket RS3 car mats. I was going to go for red trim but went for the silver grey to match the upholstery.

Look really nice and around £50 for the super velour version. From Ambassadorcarmats.co.uk

Will see how they wear but I'm happy and better than the £350 that Audi wanted for their version.

I think they look really nice, I shall order some.

Significantly better than your extended paddle shifts and tartan pj's 😉.

Haha sorry about those pyjamas. I woke early to fit them and didn't consider what I was wearing.

In addition to the paddle extensions I have now also added some circular rings in anodised red to the vents.

They work with the paddles quite well imho.

Another update from the weekend. I upgraded the rear light clusters to the new facelift clusters with dynamic indicators.

Easy job to do. Supplied as a kit from Alex at VagCarCoding including the required plug and play modules.

Video on link.

Car looks absolutely cracking there james. Got to say also they seem to be the only wheel other than the rotors that work with the RS3 that I've seen 👍👍👍 best colour too 😉

So for my next mod I added these plug & play door light which project the RS3 logo.

These fit in place of the oem puddle lights and are direct fit.

Actual pictures on my car added below. Look really cool.
