I remember when Josh fitted one to his Standard MK 1
He said It felt stronger / sounded better and ran slightly cooler.

Seems the oem intercooler could be better then.

I'm aiming to bang one of these on my car.... At least to see how it affects charge temps over the stock cooler, which doesn't look great in design from what I've seen.

Whether it's worth the investment, I'll certainly share the findings.

Looks a nice cooler though on face value.

Speak to Aoon, he is the man on intercoolers. Had a debate on FB with him (hes fitted both) and he agree the wagner is best by miles.

BUT.... saying that, unless u are going stage 2 or big turbo, wouldn't the wagner simply suck away boost pressure?

Its a big price difference between the EVO3 and the Forge that puts me off the wagner.... £500 to be precise!

I scored a real good deal on a wagner, but started having problems with my car and ended up getting shot, I kinda wish I hadn't now.

Size doesn't guarantee any benefit. It's all about the efficiency of the core in relation. The quality of the core, which you can't see, can make a huge difference to efficiency.

I'm not suggesting the Wagner setup is not as good, or is better either. Without appropriate objective data to support, which is more than available on either the Wagner or Forge website, no conclusion can be drawn IMO.

BTW... Aoon asked me what to log when he was looking to compare the two intercoolers, which I'm pretty sure he hasn't done yet. If he had he would of rammed the results down my throat on whatsapp!
