I thought that was you Roy on the way back, was just cruising, Mrs was feeling a little car sick! Must admit everytime I take the car out like that it makes you respect it and fall in love with it all over again.... weather like today made me realise the power of quattro... m2 on the way and after todays weather I know which car I would rather be in!!

Some 712.2 miles later I pulled up at home at 2230 last night...with a fine collection of shell receipts I might add!! Lol
All worth it for a fantastic weekend and was a pleasure to meet everyone!

Well today seems rather a dull day compared to an awesome day yesterday.... Loved blasting the RS3 on wet roads in thick mist at full chuff... as everyone says what a great machine.... not once did I feel like it wasn't going where I placed it!!!!

Would just like to say a massive thanks to all those involved in organising that fabulous weekend.
Particularly Robinsky and uncle fester.
Also Mac d and lady c.
Really well organised event and loved every minute. ( even the Mrs did )
Those roads and scenery were absolutely stunning.
We really do have a great bunch on here - well done and thanks

Nice one Charlotte. ...Have got a picture of mist, pouring down rain, cars at full chuff and Dave shouting pace notes on tiny, windy roads... lol

Robin you are taking the pi$$ now with Scotland on the cards haha.

Well I have the moors on my doorstep and also beaches so we are blessed with both down here..
Exmoor national park is only 20mins away, and Saunton/Croyde/Woolacombe are popular beaches also within 20mins.
The drive from Saunton to Croyde is stunning...

It's just a question if the people up North are prepared to travel down south

I did organise a trip to Hanes motor museum and a drive through the cheddar gorge last year and didn't get any Northern folk travelling down!

Rob, you can drive on the beach at Brean, just South of Weston super mare.
