Keeping an eye on this.
Its quite a trek the last 211 mile trip I made took 5 hours, ( first 60 miles took 2 hours! ) so probably need a hotel the night before.

As most of you know I attended the last lakes meet which was on a Sunday & for me it's 248 each way so did a slow drive up on the Saturday & stayed in a premier inn @ jct 34 M6 which is not far from the starting point, just a thought for people coming from the south

I think there maybe a premier for £30 quid a night or sumert like that more the merrier it's defiantly worth the trip both of you!
